The services of these Resource Persons and Consultants are intended to be utilised as per specific needs”Our primary overseas partners with whom we have worked and trained in India and the UK, are in the College of Natural Resources (CNS) at Bangor University (Wales, UK). Primary contact is Dr Shaun Russell, Director of the Wales Environment Research Hub at Bangor. Dr Russell has worked in India for many years on UK government-funded natural resource management projects, at national and state levels. Dr Russell would facilitate a team of colleagues with relevant skills from several departments within CNS, especially the Welsh Institute for Natural Resources (WINR). As an example of relevant staff skills, Dr Andrea Mottram (above) was Livelihoods Programme Manager for Mercy Corps, running the post-disaster agricultural rehabilitation programme at BandaAceh in Indonesia after the Tsunami in 2004. Former Institute Director Dr Ian Robinson (now running the AA International Consultancy) has two decades of experience in vulnerability assessment for natural disasters in the tropics, working for many bilateral and multilateral agencies including the UN-FAO.
